As some of you may know, it's been sort of a crazy year over here at the Arnaz/Ball household. Some family and career stuff have sort of left me feeling, well...ugly. So I decided to treat myself to a face lift. You know, a little nip and tuck and pick-me-up. That's why I haven't been around as often lately.

Wait...you don't think...not that kind of a face lift! I mean my blog!

My blog had a face lift. L.O.L. (If you saw me in real life, this would be obvious.) Anyway, Julie over at Life According To Julie AND Fabulous Blogging did my work. She took one look at my blog and gasped and went down like the Hindenburg. (Not really. She was actually FAR more complimentary than she should have been.)

A whiff of smelling salts later, she came to, and quickly went to work. The bandages came off the next day and My Life As Lucille looked beautiful! I think so anyway. Even my sister said, "I took one look and wanted to stay." Whatever that means.

Some bloggers out there are like me. I know how to do some things myself, but I really suck at the visual part of designing a blog. I throw stuff all over everywhere and when I'm finished? It looks like Blogger threw up on my home page. Other bloggers are just starting out and don't know where to begin or could use a few tips on social media plugins or tricks to make it more reader-friendly. Oh. And then there are "those really awesome bloggers" who have sites that look like God, himself created their blog on the day after HE created the other stuff. Even "those" people could use someone to make a quick blog button or something they're too busy to do, right?

Here's my point. If you or someone you know could use some free and friendly blog fabulous-ness, this contest is for you. No, not you...I mean YOU. The blogger behind that guy in the monkey suit.
