Celebrities I've Had "THAT" Dream About, Potential Rationale, And What It Might Say About Me

Oh, come ON. You know you've had "those" kind of dreams about celebrities too. Stop acting all self-righteous and stuff. Me? Yah. A few.

I can't put my finger on it, exactly. The following gentlemen are FAR from the type most women would have THAT kind of dream about. But there must be something the three of them have in common...I've tried to rationalize their presence in my dreams as follows.

Guys I've Had "THAT" (sex) Dream About With Potential Rationale:

CELEBRITY #1.

William Shatner - What?!?

POTENTIAL RATIONALE: I'm not sure. Maybe it's the Good Ol' Boys era of scotch drinking, cigar-smoking gentlemen. Maybe it's his voice. It's kind of husky and sexy. Sort of. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with Star Trek or Klingons though. I never watched the stuff, myself. I was hooked on Boston Legal for quite a while though. I own several seasons on dvd. The wisdom he channeled as Denny Crane was pure poetry.

CELEBRITY #2.

Dr. Phil - Stop it. Stop laughing. Are you quite finished???

POTENTIAL RATIONALE: I'm pretty sure it's not the Southern drawl. That's a little annoying. Although I have lived in the South and my friends' accents didn't annoy me like Phil's does. Also, my shop teacher had a more convincing comb-over so it's not the hair either. I like Oprah and I know she was responsible for getting him his own show. At least I think she was. But I'm pretty sure it's not an "Oprah Thing." Hmmm... I wonder if it has anything to do with the way he tells it like it is. You know. Like this, "Om gonna tell it lock it iz, ya'll. You need to GIT reeeeel, K?" Or maybe I have a mind crush on him since he says all of those really profound things.

On the other hand, I don't think that's it either.

CELEBRITY #3.

Donald Trump - Ummm... I really have no explanation for this. But I'll try.

POTENTIAL RATIONALE: It's obviously not the hair thing. I just covered that with Phil. It could, quite possibly have something to do with the fact that he's a self-made man. He is the epitome of the adage, "If at first you don't succeed..." No. I think there must be some other reason.

POTENTIAL CONCLUSIONS ABOUT ME BASED ON "THOSE" DREAMS:

There seem to be a myriad of underlying reasons why a person like me would dream about these particular gentlemen as opposed to Johnny Depp or Hugh Jackman. What could it be?

Let's explore.

confident? Who doesn't find that attractive?
successful? I wouldn't mind putting my feet up for a change.
motivated? Slackers need not enter my REM stage.
driven? Sometimes it's nice when someone else is in charge.
good looks? HELL no.
mind crush? Probably.
in control? I'm guessing that just might be the sitch.

At the end of the day, sometimes I'm just plain tired of being in charge. I mean, I'm good at it. I have my little recruits so well-trained that they barely even need me. But sometimes...I long for a man who will just push me around, tell me what to do, and put everyone (especially the short ones) in their place so I can take an uninterrupted  shower for once in 10 years.

I kind of think that would be hot. You?

Have YOU had "THE DREAM" about anyone? Tell.... Come on... Your secret is safe with me...

xoxoxo

Love,
Lucy

  2. I'm sorry - not a one of these fellows does it for me. Johnny Depp is also a no go. Hugh Jackman on the other hand is welcome to put his boots under my bed any day. As are Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery.

    1. I still really can't figure out why THEM? My friends at school used to laugh and make fun of me for it.

  4. Lol, I would long to take one shower where my two year old didn't somehow find her way outside the shower door whining for something. Enough said, lol!!

  5. Ha ha! This was so funny! And you're right, I was totally laughing at Dr. Phil. Then my stomach turned at Donald Trump. I saw Donald Trump last summer in D.C. He walked right by me with his entourage while I was waiting in line for a gyro. I took a pic, but he was moving too fast, so it was crappy.

  6. Ok I can totally get on board with Dr Phil.
I know, you are looking at me differently.
I tell ya what it says about you:
    - you like to save money on airfare

    - you like sexy men (hey- he is sexy)

    - you are in the market for a hairpiece

    Problem solved.

    1. That's true! Only it wasn't THAT kind of dream. That would be weird. I dreamed we were bff's. We hung and did crafts and stuff. She was cool in my dreams.

  8. Oh, my, if Donald Trump showed up in my dreams, I might never wake up. The terror would make sure of that. ;)

    1. Of all three, he's the most curious. I have NO idea in hell why I would dream about him. Although, Celebrity Apprentice is starting again in March. Maybe that's why. I kind of like that show.

    1. Thanks. ;-) It's a hoot when it's someone else dreaming it. When it's me? Not so much. Thanks for stopping by!

  10. I am going to be so sorry I shared this with you or anyone- but last week I dreamed that my husband and I were having sex and my brother was in our backyard and could hear us. WTF is that about? He was super calm and we chatted amicably about it after. Seriously i wanted to laugh and ball up in the fetal position.

  15. As a trekkie (don't tell anyone) I could see Mr Shatner in the olden days....as for the rest of the list, I'm really sorry, I just don't get you. Well OK maybe I do....not trying to be a bloghole here, but because my post is so eerily similar (at least the ending is) I must share http://breaktheparentingmold.com/2013/03/28/egotistical-neurotic-or-depressed-how-do-you-choose/
Feel free to delete, if I does offend. But wait until you read it, because my #3 beats all of your choices. Well I don't think so, but you might.
